I enjoy building things... a lot. My friends called me "Brome Depot" at one point, because I was going to Home Depot more often than the grocery store.

My biggest project to date was the complete gutting and renovation of a room in the fraternity house where I lived at Drexel. It was a massive project, 95% of which I did by myself. What I hoped would be a six-week project ended up taking more than six months, but in the end it was well worth it.

Below are some panoramas showing the room in various stages of renovation. (Sorry for the poor stitching.) The project included removing the ceiling and extending the room into a previously unused part of the attic, creating a vaulted ceiling. All-new insulation, drywall, wiring, and even plumbing were all part of the project. The last few months were spent on refinishing the floor - a much harder task than I anticipated. After that, I moved in, and eventually refinished the cast-iron radiator, and built a rolling (library-style) ladder for the loft bed.
